How did you discover your Iconic Essence?

I first discovered my Iconic Essence after overcoming years of feeling guilty about my sexuality. I would enjoy myself, but feel bad about it. I enquired within, “why do I feel bad about pleasure?” Eventually I realized that deep down, there was nothing to feel guilty about. No one had been hurt. I was having “good clean fun” when I was enjoying my body with myself of consensually with another. It was innocent. Thus emerged my Iconic Essence. Who I am is Erotic Innocence. There’s nothing bad, wrong or dirty about me enjoying my body. That is only a learned narrative from a shame-based society. My innate inner knowing said otherwise. “If it feels good, it’s good for you.” Instead of guilt about pleasure, I started to feel pride. I’m here to contribute this liberation, that pleasure, sensuality and intimacy are pure, innocent and sacred.

How does your Iconic Essence shape what you do?

My Iconic Essence, Erotic Innocence, is all about your curiosity. It’s about having a direct experience, without the mental chatter that loops around and around and bogs everything down. Erotic Innocence is the absence of all of that. It’s about being guiltless and shameless because you trust your desires are holy, and taking you in the direction of your self-actualization. So as this relates to business, operating in the spirit of Erotic Innocence is to turn down the volume on fearful, judgmental thoughts, and to take the risk of following the thread of what feels good and right. A business not only run on metrics, but also by intuition. For me it means that I aim to be “in my pleasure” while I am working. I seek to be an embodiment of the message, so it motivates me to walk by talk which is a helpful side-effect! I believe that my curiosity is a superpower. I love learning and discovering. When Erotic Innocence is in the driver’s seat, it’s a beginner’s mind that does not have preconceived notions, but seeks to explore and experience the new. Brought into business, this can mean taking risks, creating something new, harnessing technology, and more.

What do you imagine the world would be like if everyone was expressing their Iconic Essence?

This is an inspiring vision! It would be so delightful to interact with people who know and trust what they have to offer to the world. There would be more clarity, more ease, more playfulness. It would be a more artistic world.
